School... will it never end? I gots a new game too...
Monday. A monday after a long weekend is one of the toughest things to endure. Got a new game though. It's called Fable. I'm sure if you're an X-Box freak you've heard of it. Regardles of it's lack of infinite destinations, it is a fairly detailed RPG. Over the span of two days I watched my character go from a good looking young man to a white haired, heavily scarred warrior. My characer managed to reach age 41 before I married him to some peasant woman. Meanwhile, I have not as of yet gotten the property necessary to marry my boy friend. Monogomy and homosexuality are accepted in this game. My character's bi just because I wan't to see how the game treats it. There's only like one gay NPC in the entire game. You are a pre-set character. A young boy whose village was destroyed and was rescued by a member of the Heroes Guild. You grow up training in the guild but little of your actual game time is spent as a child. A cut scene connects childhood to teen and another connects teen to adult. Once you're an adult, it becomes more of a make-your-own-way kind of thing. There's a map in the guild that allows you to access quests, be it main quest or miscellaneous. With miscellaneous quests you can go two ways: good or bad. How you go developes your reputation amung the people of Albion. It's loads of fun and the graphics are beautiful. The only thing that I'm angry about is that I haven't found a tattooist yet. I have all these tattoo cards and no one to put them on my body, scarred as it is... All throughout the game you can vouluntarily change your appearance. You can grow a beard or shave it off. Style your hair or shave it off! The only thing you can't controll is your character's aging. If you fight alot (which is the best part of the game) you slowly develope scars. You can use all kinds of magick to help and unlike Morrowind, it's very easy to combine melee and magic in fact, things are quite awesome if you do that. So yeah, I'm happy.
